Thanks for all of the hard work you put into this site. From a post I put on it a little over a year ago, I have had three people contact me. I had been looking for people that knew my father when he was an A-10 pilot there. My father died in 1981 as a result of injuries sustained in a crash/ejection. It has been very enlightening to hear details of what actually happened.
Closure of some sort after all these years...

Sincerely,
Louis Gagne

I have now been contacted by 3 more people that I have worked with in the Phase hangar just from them doing a search for "Bentwaters" and finding my photos!

Thanks much Linn!

Pretty scary having a Wanted Poster with you photo on it huh?
For Linn in Woodbridge Suffolk. Looks like Al Berning, my best man, takes credit for this find. He sent a letter to the Air Force locater in San Antonio Texas. See www.bentwaters.org.uk website. Mr Linn Barringer's famous work of art. Not bad for a lad from Essex and retired UK Ford Motor Car worker? Well they did catch him working once. [ed. - this is disputed]
Ta ta for now

I haven't got his email address yet, but I did locate Ed Throckmorton this week, I called about a dozen Ed Throckmortons on Tuesday. Lluckily Ed had an answering machine; he called yesterday and talked to my wife for a couple minutes. He's in michigan, I have his phone number. I'll try to talk to him today and get his email address... Hope some of you remember Ed.
Hope all is going well for all of you, its 22 degrees F, here in Arkansas today, I'm ready for spring.
Rick
