My dog King and me, taken in 1961 at the Bentwaters RAF dog section kennels... The cameraman must have told King to smile...

Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your web site and the information about Bentwaters. The picture of the K-9 Building in the Post-Bentwaters pictures really makes me sad, to think of all the good years I spent in that building preparing dog food, briefing the guys and just hanging around with my dog. (And trimming the weeds - boy look at them now) I thought I would send you a couple of more pictures of the kennel area as it was in 1961, when I took the pictures. I was stationed at Bentwaters for 4 years. (1960 thru 1963) Thanks again for a great job and letting us remember the past.

Hi Linn,
I was looking at the web page with some of the pictures I sent to
you, and although you do have the pictures on there of how the dog
kennels looked in 1963, the narrative is there for 2003 but not any
of the pictures I took to show the difference. Could you possibly
add some of these to the 2003 narrative.
Once again, just want to tell you how much I enjoy the web site. You
must spend countless hours working on it. It is all worthwhile, believe
me. I sit for the longest time just looking over times gone by, and
I'm sure that others do too. Thank you and have a very Happy New Year.
