When the floor of the old
Mail Room was removed, beneath was found vinyl floor tiles spelling out
the big 91, indicating that the building was once the squadron headquarters
or recreation area(?) of the 91st TFS. The "91" was in front of
what seemed to be the remains of a coal fire hearth.
"The
man with a van" now has a base on Bentwaters (Photo 3 April 2000)
