Without both Doug and his Pup, obviously this
page would not exist.
Doug's help with these shots is gratefully
acknowledged.
I didn't have my digital camera available but in those days I always carried a disposable and took this with me. Being used to a "through the lens" viewfinder, I have a fair number of fingers in the shots! However, for such a cheap camera, the results were just about OK after scanning at high resolution, then manipulating the contrast, colour balance, sharpness.
As usual, if you can correct or add to the captions, do contact me.

1. This picture
shows Wantisden Church, buildings 591, 592 and barely visible the
roof of the brick out-house 599, JEM jet engine shop, Hangar 74,
EMS admin building which also housed battery shop and spray booth.

2. Dispersal, in the pine woods.

3. Runway, RAF Bentwaters, looking towards Eyke.
4. Runway, RAF Bentwaters, towards Eyke, from a lower altitude - bagnasty lower centre right.

5. Weapons storage. WSA on the left, NMSA centre right, Victor Alert barns beyond.
6. Weapons storage - WSA in foreground, NMSA beyond, then Victor Alert barns.

7. Across the
runway towards the control tower and 81st TFW HQ. Large T2 Hangar, low centre.
8. In the foreground
of this shot, is the 'gap' in 6 hangars left by an F-101 Voodoo
crash.
In the space between, you can almost see the
"bag nasty" lady!
9. Victor Alert. A piece of wing, bottom right - makes a change from finger!
10. Domestic
Site, towards Tunstall and the River Alde at Snape.
11. Just above
the runway, looking towards Tunstall. The control tower is just
visible on extreme left.

And finally,
not my work. This is what the professionals can do!
